1. Workshop Overview

The Advanced GI Endoscopy & Interventional EUS / ERCP Hands-On Training is a 3-day, intensive, mentor-led workshop specifically engineered to deliver high-yield practical experience in advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

Training will be conducted on high-fidelity animal models using state-of-the-art endoscopic platforms and latest therapeutic accessories. Under expert faculty supervision, participants will practice EUS-guided interventions, advanced ERCP techniques, third-space endoscopy, and complex endoscopic closure.

Allocation: First come, first served, subject to eligibility & seniority verification.

Batch Density: 2–3 participants per station

Station Selection: Each participant may select up to 2 preferred stations. Final allocation depends on availability and faculty approval.

Model Availability: EUS Models active on 28 & 29 August | ERCP, POEM, ESD & Closure Models active on 30 August.

Provided Equipment Spectrum: HD EUS Systems, HD ERCP Systems, Electrosurgical Units, CO₂ Insufflation Systems, Lumen-Apposing Metal Stents (LAMS), Plastic Stents, FNA / FNB Needles, Guidewires, Embolization Coils, Tissue Adhesive (Glue), Over-The-Scope Clip (OTSC) Systems, Defect Closure Devices, SpyGlass Cholangioscopy Systems, and a full range of therapeutic accessories.

10. Learning Objectives

By the conclusion of this workshop, delegates will be able to perform and troubleshoot:

  • • EUS-guided biliary drainage: Choledochoduodenostomy (CDS) & Hepaticogastrostomy (HGS).
  • • Gastric variceal management using combined Glue & Coil.
  • • LAMS deployment and EUS-guided Gastrojejunostomy (EUS-GJ).
  • • Advanced ERCP cannulation, stone removal & direct cholangioscopy.
  • • Third-space endoscopy: POEM, ESD & EMR techniques.
  • • Endoscopic defect closure using OTSC, OVESCO systems, and endoloops.
  • • Management of intra-procedural difficult scenarios and post-procedure care.
